Rotators and Snakes

چکیده
Abstract This lecture introduces various kinds of spin rotating devices used in present particle accelerators. They include Siberian Snakes for polarization preservation and rotators creating a specific orientation experimental locations. Following the analysis rotation different types magnets, approaches designing are discussed. Considerations appropriate design choices dependence on beam energy given. Examples past accelerators as well designs considered future ones presented.

We measure the rotational velocities of the late B-type hypervelocity stars HVS7 and HVS8 from high resolution spectroscopy to be 60 ± 17 km s and 260 ± 70 km s.
